Gijipo Beach ~ 기지포 해수욕장 (Connected beach: Sam Bong Beach 상봉해수욕장)

Because of the extraordinary demand of this year’s Korean Regional Burn, for fun and fire it has been decided to move the location.

Two and a half hours south of Seoul, Gijipo Beach is a beautiful National Park beach. With 200 meters of tidal basin, grass, and forest, Gijipo Beach was sought after for its beauty, capacity, and seclusion. Tents required!

Behind the beaches and wooden paths through the grass is a serene pine forest perfect for camping. Bring your tent, chairs, and guitars and set up your home-away-from-home in this shaded wilderness. You may play any music you like, open a bar or two, or sleep in the “cuddle tent”… the Korean Regional Burn is what you make it! Have fun! Think of what you can do and make it happen!

Since Gijipo Beach is also a National Park, we have been asked to stay off of the grassy dunes. Given the size of the beach and the camping.cooking area, we thought this wouldn’t be a big deal! 🙂

GETTING THERE!

FROM SEOUL:  You can take a bus from Express Buss Terminal or Nambu Bus Terminal –> to –> Anmyeon Bus Terminal then W8,000 TAXI ride to the beach location.
